Description
This small board is a bidirectional logic level converter that safely converts 5V digital signals to 3.3V signals and vice versa. This converter also works in the presence of peripherals and systems that work at 2.8V and 1.8V, for up to four signals. This board is supplied with pre-tinned pads placed at a standard distance (2.54mm pitch) in order to make the converter easily integrated through the use of male strip connectors in pre-existing systems or in any case usable with very common breadboards, perfboards or prototyping boards. This level converter is easy to use: the board needs to be powered by both power sources (high voltage and low voltage) that characterize the system. The HIGH voltage (e.g. 5V) must be connected to the 'HV' pin of the converter, the low voltage (e.g. 3.3V) must be connected to the 'LV' pin. Finally, the ground of the system must be connected to the 'GND' pins of the board. The board is supplied with two 6-pin male strip connectors with 2.54mm (0.100”) pitch.
