Description

Item Description: ArduCAM-M-5MP is optimized version of ArduCAM shield Rev.C, and is a high definition 5MP SPI camera, which reduce the complexity of the camera control interface. It integrates 5MP CMOS image sensor OV5642, and provides miniature size, as well as the easy to use hardware interface and open source code library. The ArduCAM mini can be used in any platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Maple, Chipkit, Beaglebone black, as long as they have SPI and I2C interface and can be well mated with standard Arduino boards. ArduCAM mini not only offers the capability to add a camera interface which doesn’t have in some low cost microcontrollers, but also provides the capability to add multiple cameras to a single microcontroller. Application: IoT cameras Robot cameras Wildlife cameras Other battery-powered products Can be used in MCU, Raspberry Pi, ARM, DSP, FPGA platforms Key Specifications: Active array size: 2592x1944 SPI speed: Max 8MHz Shutter: rolling shutter Frame buffer: 8MByte Pixel Size: 1.4µm x 1.4µm Default M12 Lens: 55° Resolution support:5MP, 1080p, 720p, VGA, QVGA Format support: RAW, YUV, RGB, JPEG Size: 34 x 24 mm Weight: 20g Temperature: -10°C~+55°C Lens Specification: sensor size: 1/4″; EFL:4mm; F/N:2.2; BFL:1.2mm; HFOV: 60 degree (SKU: U6067) Note: If you would like to change the lens, please choose the lens from the M12 lens kit here: SKU: LK001 Arducam M12 mount camera lens kit for Arduino and Raspberry Pi camera SKU: LK002 Arducam Low Distortion M12 mount camera lens kit for Arduino and Raspberry Pi camera Current and Power consumption (5V input): Single Chip Microcomputer without MINI 5MP Plus - Single Chip Microcomputer without MINI 5MP Plus Current: 40mA, Power Consumption: 0.2W; - Nomal mode with MINI 5MP Plus Current: 260mA, Power Consumption: 1.3W; - Low Power mode with MINI 5MP Plus Current: 90mA, Power Consumption: 0.45W; Current and Power consumption (3.3V input): - Nomal mode with MINI 5MP Plus Current: 223mA, Power Consumption: 0.74W; Features: 5MP image sensor OV5642 M12/CS mount replaceable lens I2C interface for the sensor configuration SPI interface for camera commands and data stream Support external hardware trigger input All IO ports are 5V/3.3V tolerant Well mated with standard Arduino boards Provide open source code library for Arduino, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, etc Package Including: 1pcs MINI Arducam module Camera Shield w/ 5MP OV5642 for Arduino UNO Mega2560 board 1pcs Dupont Cable NOTE: Arduino UNO is not included Documentation: SPI Cameras for Raspberry Pi Pico Additional Resources: User Guide – Arducam 5MP Plus SPI Camera Sensor Datasheet – OV5642 Software Application Note – OV5642 Camera Module Arducam MINI Cameras Tutorial Arducam Documentation – Arducam 5MP Plus SPI Camera Github – Arducam 5MP Plus SPI Camera 3D Drawing – Arducam 5MP Plus SPI Camera Arducam M12 Mount Lens Kit Arducam Low Distortion M12 Mount Lens Kit
