The Pi NoIR (no infrared) is the same as the standard camera module, but without an IR filter. Therefore, it is ideal for photography and videos in the dark. The module uses the Sony IMX219PQ image sensor which offers high speed and high sensitivity video images. The Pi NoIR module ensures reduced image contamination, such as fixed noise and smearing. It also offers automatic control functions such as exposure control, white balance and luminance detection.
