Description

By providing a positive pulse with a duration of 10 µs to the “Trigger Pulse Input” pin, the SRF04 sensor generates a train of ultrasonic pulses at 40 kHz, these pulses are sent, via the transmitting capsule, towards the obstacle, the receiving capsule detects the echo and on the “Echo Pulse Output” pin there will be a pulse with a duration from 100 µs (3 cm) to 18 ms (3 m) proportional to the distance of the object. If it does not detect any obstacle within 3 m, it produces a pulse with a duration of approximately 36 ms.
