Description

The EM4469 tag operates at a frequency of 125 kHz and draws power from the field induced by the reader, thanks to an LC tuned circuit (as shown in Fig. 1); the data contained in the internal EEPROM is communicated externally by "modulating" the field through the connection of a resistor in parallel to the LC circuit. Several options are available for the data transfer rate (from 1 to 32 kbaud, automatically synchronized with the clock derived from the EM field) and for the information coding technique (Manchester, biphase, Miller, PSK. FSK). The chip has a unique 32-bit identifier (more than 4 billion combinations), write-protected.
